Bungy Jumping

If you need an adrenaline fix, look no further than bungy jumping. For those adventurous types who live for challenges, you can jump 50 metres over the green-blue water of the Jungle Lagoon at the Jungle Bungy Jump in Kathu.
Set over a picturesque pond, formerly an old tin mining site, but now a safe location for experiencing big-time thrills, the jump site is the only licensed one in Thailand and the only insured site in Asia. Look for Jungle Bungy Jump on the main road leading out of Patong to Phuket Town near the major intersection at Kathu.


Have  are two places in Phuket where you can excite yourself from great heights and live to tell your friends about it, with the help of a bungee cord: Jungle Bungy Jump in Kathu District promises to give you "The best fun you can have with your pants on!" - a jump from 50m tower over water.
World Bungy Patong, meanwhile, claims to be Southern Thailand's highest bungy. Located on Soi Kepsap, 2 Sai Namyen Rd, Patong Beach. Open daily 10:00-19:00

When you come to Phuket, one thing should not miss, go to see many kind animals at the Phuket zoo. There are plenty of type animal. please look for information below
Phuket Zoo is a private zoo. It is not supported by the government. The zoo opened in 1997. 

  The zoo occupies an area of about 30 rai or 12 acres or 5 hectares. The winding paths shaded by many large fig trees (Ficus species) let you wander around in comfort for hours.
Stands selling water, soft drinks, beer and ice cream, etc. are scattered around the grounds.
Several rest rooms/ W.C.s are available.



Animal Information

Be a guest at Phuket Zoo and get a close encounter with an amazing range of animals like thousands of crocodiles, many camels, tigers, ostriches, emus and other rare birds. This is a place that challenges your perceptions of life on earth.

Monkey Shows:09.00, 12.00, 14.30 and 16.45 hrs.
Crocodile Shows:09.45, 12.45, 15.15 and 17.30 hrs.
Elephant Shows:10.30, 13.30 and 16.00 hrs.

 Otherwise we also have The Aquarium has an amazing entrance built as a giant crocodile's mouth, you have to walk down the crocodile's throat to get in. Inside is air conditioned, providing a welcome break from the tropical heat. Huge tanks of thirty thousand liters line both sides and show a variety of both fresh- and saltwater species from around the world.


Phuket Aquarium is one of the units under the control of the Phuket Marine Biological Center, the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. The aim of the aquarium is to provide knowledge on the diversity of fresh water plants, fish and of coastal and marine life. It is also a source of marine scientific news and information.

The exhibition of underwater life is displayed in tanks which are as beautiful as the natural environment; including sandy beach, rocky shore, coral reef and mangrove habitats.

In the hall, the display is divided into 2 sections, fresh water plants/fish and marine creatures. 

 Fresh Water plants/fish
Fresh water plants and fish are displayed in 10 tanks of 5-10 liters, 4 tanks of 3-8 cubic meters. Approximately 20 tons of freshwater is used. There are over 50 species of fresh water plants and fish in the displays, e.g. the electric eel and Amazon cobia, etc. 


Marine Life

The Andaman Sea is part of the Indian Ocean. Globally, it is one of the most beautiful places and has the most diverse marine life. The display of marine life is made in 22 tanks. The transparent tunnel exhibits the beautiful fishes such as Napoleon wrasse, bluefin trevally, snapper, grouper, butterfly fish, banner fish, etc.  

Touch pool:
The pool is inhabited by shallow reef creatures such as sea cucumbers and sea stars. To learn and understand more about these animals, visitors may gently touch these creatures.

The Phuket Aquarium will reopen to the public on April 9 2005, after being closed for renovations and improvements for two and a half years.
