Phi Phi Island, Maya Bay
When you come to Phuket first island you should visit is Phi Phi Island. It is not far to Phuket. Phi Phi Island is located in Krabi Province of Thailand This Island is named island-superstar Leonardo Decrapio. Hollywood movie star take film here named “The Beach ” in 2000 . It's the topic of conversation for travelers all over Thailand. For some, it's the only reason to touch down in Phuket. Even with all the hype, it doesn't disappoint.Phi Phi's beauty is a large chunk of the allure. The islands, whe approached by boat, rise from the sea like a fortress. Sheer cliffs tower overhead, and then give way to beach-fronted jungle. It's love at first sight.
" Phi Phi " The name derived from Malay language and the original was pulao is the Malay word for island. The name refers to the mangrove wood found there. Phi Phi Islands or Mu Koh Phi Phi is an archipelago of six islands which consists of Koh Phi Phi Don and Koh Phi Phi Le as the major islands. The superb scenery of the islands includes high hills with jutting cliffs surrounded by marvelous beaches and emerald sea, hiding underneath a bank of coral reefs and colorful marine life.
